It's been way too long since our last blog...

So, here we are in the wee small hours putting digits to laptop....since last we mused, we've been a-ferry hopping, over to the Isle of Arran, and meeting the wonderful Mhairi at the Burnside Gallery. Now there's a place that isn't elitist, and is wholly interactive with the local community. And as Arran is a magical Isle, it seems the Lunicorns will be hosting workshops in the near future entitled 'Fairies, Elves & Unicorns' so if you've any stray weans with some time to kill, you might want to think about booking them into one of our workshops. Dates on the website, and we promise, apart from a bit of idle unicorn tattoo-ing, we won't lead them astray. Speaking of which, we hosted our Lunicorn stall at Witchfest in Glasgow last weekend. What a terrific atmosphere! And we were only sorry in the midst of packing up that we missed the Hellfire Fashion Show taking place on the main stage. It seemed decidedly decadent.
This week, we're on the Tall Ship at Glasgow's Riverfest. Built in 1876, we're sure the Tall Ship has lots of tales to tell. Here's a spooky thing....my mother recently gifted me a fruitbowl which was gifted to her by my Great Great Uncle Andy (who used to take me for walks as a child in the Ayrshire hills, as well as gift me half a dozen fresh eggs, a golden cream caramel and 10p every Saturday). Out of curiosity, we checked out the markings on its underside on the web, only to discover, wait for it, it came from the Unicorn Pottery....!! How amazing? And the trademark of H & K Tunstall, its maker, is a.....unicorn! Obviously meant to be. We've now let it breathe/live with the other unicorns in its midst and it is sitting pride of place in the conservatory. Pleased to see that our Lunicorn word is spreading to distant shores as well as local on the world wide web, Lunicorn is indeed going global. It's been a great summer so far, and we're watching our vibrant corn flowers soar and our tomatoes take to the skies with unerring ambition. Just call us Tom and Barbara. It's definitely the Good Life, either way. Just wait till you see those tomatoes on e-bay....
For all of those who have been kind enough to join our mailing list, one of these days in the not too distant future, we WILL get round to writing a scintillating newsletter, so watch this space.
In the meantime, live well, stay happy, and be kind to even those who sometimes just don't deserve it. Plus pleasantries confuse aforementioned bods so keep smiling safe in the knowledge that you've rocked their 'ken'.
All of that too puzzling? Well, accept that one Lunicorn is now four days without the nicotine, and possibly therefore somewhat shell-shocked, if not at least healthier.
Love & Light
The Lunicorns
