Do things always come in threes?
What is a series of mechanic breakdowns and technical failures trying to tell the Lunicorns, we wonder? First it was the Compressor on the fridge freezer, then the Clutch on the Lunicornmobile, and finally (we hope!) the hard drive on the Computer. They say losing all your files and info via a hard drive fry-up only ever happens once. i.e. the big lesson learned is BACK UP, BACK UP, BACK UP. So enough of the negative. Mind you since all these things have been happening, we've enjoyed some truly remarkable kindnesses from friends all around us. Out of calamity often comes joy, we've realised.
Since last blog the Lunicorns have been busy doing what they do best. Three days at the Edinburgh Festival for the Alternative Lifestyle Show, our last of three workshops on Arran, the launch of our new 'believe' keyrings from reclaimed wood, our inspirational tree wisdom nuggets (thank you Joe for making that possible), a terrific Body & Soul weekend in Glasgow, a Druid Conference, another wonderful Botanics Craft Fair, a Ladies Night at the Primary in Woodlands, Glasgow, and a trip to Dundee for more Body & Soul. All this with a well dodgy clutch and no pc. This week sees us set up at Tir na nOg's Crystal Fair on Sunday 10th September, plus a split Lunicorn shift at Mugdock Country Park on the same day with the Mugdock Makkers. Then we're venturing South to Bury for a Life Quest exhibition. We'll more than likely write another blog before we regale you with our movements for the rest of September. We hope to have our 'believe' book ready for October, and will soon also reveal our 'believe' buds. Finally, the last of the cute cuddly unicorns has now been homed, with us! We couldn't bear to sell it. It was sitting on our display like the runt of the litter, so we decided to keep it ourselves, with the knowledge that those little darlings are 'end of line' and can never be got again. So for anyone reading this, who has one, it really is now a bit special. In the meantime, we're off to try and resurrect some files from memory and start at the beginning, which we're told, is a very good place to begin.

Glad to see the unicorn has found a safe paddock. Though perhaps it knew your plans for new show-based experiences, it wouldn't rest so easily!
Lunicorns go from strength to strength and are BACK UP and running! Thanks for the preview today of the fab keyrings and tree wisdom nuggets (already on my Xmas list!). Can't wait for the 'Believe' books - such a diverse range of goodies, you clever peeps! Enjoy Bury (from one who knows!), steer clear of the black pudding and don't laugh at the clog dancers!??

And Lyn H, magical crystal lady, thank you so much for you Fortuna spray, we feel showered with sparkle. And speaking as a veggie, no fear re the black pudding, though intrigued by clog dancers....???!!!
