Ever increasing circles...

Have you ever noticed how when you start to address things in your own life, optimistic, positive, sorted people start to arrive in your circle of friends to help? Since the start of the year, and perhaps even earlier, that's whats been happening to us, and it's terrific! Especially because we're aware of it. Maybe we're more tuned into it now. The negative factions have simply disappeared from our own personal guest lists. Well, that's enough of the Lunicorn philosophy nuggets for now, onto what we've been up to, as we've recently discovered people are actually reading this. Body & Soul at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall was superb, as ever, though one Lunicorn does seem to spend her time indulging herself with various treatments and therapies. Sweetie shop/kid does come to mind. Thanks to Heidi and her healing fingers! And thank you to Agenes and Donald for looking after another Lunicorn who was feeling a bit poorly. We had a lovely time with Doreen and Michael on Saturday night in Lang's before we headed off to treat ourself to a bite to eat. We popped into Pavarotti Trattoria on Cambridge Street and very quickly departed again, having been talked to quite rudely, when we made a simple request for a number of starters (all on the menu). We feltin a tapas mood, and thought we could share. Not to be. At this point, as we were walking homewards thinking we would just grab a pizza from the freezer, we spyed a wee place on Great Western Road called Enjoy. And enjoy we did. We had it to ourselves to start with, and the husband and wife team cook everything fresh. Nothing was any bother, and it had such a great vibe. And guess what, they're starting to offer tapas on Friday nights. So we took some of their leaflets and distributed them in our bags the next day at Body & Soul.
You may recall us mentioning our friends Rachael and James (the ones who have just returned from travelling the world)? Last week, we kind of invited ourselves for dinner at Rachael's mum and dad's - Pat & Bernard. Poor Pat was charged with the task of creating a veggie meal. And we can truly say, she can outcook Delia anyday. It was fantastic, and nice to be fed. And Pat & Bernard are great amiable hosts. I can just see us phoning up Rachael soon and asking if her mum and dad are coming out to play!
The big news is that we did our first adult workshop in Kelty on Sunday. Yes, ten real live grown-up people who know a thing or more about reikki. No pressure then! The feedback was good, I think they enjoyed it. Our workshop has a strong fun element to it, whilst also including the more serious side.
On Saturday Pippa Gather was strutting her stuff on the streets of the West End telling everyone about The Marketplace which was going on inside. Lots of people came for a browse, and thank you Maggie for the corks. Good to see Andy, Fraser, John and of course Great Auntie Merle.
Some friends are spending their first day at that big new building across the river at Pacific Quay. I had the joy of seeing it myself last week, and it has to be said, it is impressive. It's a good job that I no longer have to ensconce myself in said place as the restaurant is indeed licensed. Back to the kid/sweetie shop analogy.
The month of June is taken up with a variety of corporate visits, PTAs and Rainbow Guide's events before we get back into the spiritual side of things with Witchfest in July. Don't forget Nikki's mediumship demonstration at Gather on 4th June - 7.45pm. Not to be missed. So in the meantime, here's to circles merging, circles widening and circles over-lapping. It's great fun, if somewhat olympic.
