Thingummy, Doodah & Wotsit

So, what age do you think we need to be, before we start replacing nouns and adjectives with the above? Verbs, thus far, seem immune, but there's still time...
So here's a thingummy about a doodah with a wotsit!
And it's even better when your partner understands exactly what you mean, because their particular thingummy corresponds with yours at that particular time and their wotsits and doodahs are in tune with yours?
Ain't ageing sweet?
On another note, collective consciousnesses - do you, like I, get that feeling in your tummy when a fire engine or ambulance whizzes past, sirening like mad, and every driver instinctively pulls in?
Or is it just me?
When everyone thinks - I don't care what rush I am in, what meeting I have to get to, what problems I may have - that emergency vehicle has a mission and needs to get somewhere - or it wouldn't be whirring and nanowing if it didn't, that you just pull in from whatever road hash you're in at that time?
You see, that must be collective consciousness at its best. Where we put ourselves before anyone else. I get quite emotional when I see that happen, people kerb bumping and everyone going wo-ah, there's someone who needs help, so let's all step aside to speed the journey.
If only we could do more of that, but without the sirens and the obvious route to A & E.
Anyhoo, on yet another note, we did a talk (with a scarey microphone) at Perth College recently about 'entrepreneurship'. Of course, we're sure, it would have gone better had we not written the notes on the route up in the car....
We also had our big Body & Soul Fair in Glasgow last weekend at the Concert Hall. The football affected us on Saturday bigtime but it was cool to see all the camaraderie and kilts ootside.
So, here's the thanks list for this blog, in no particular order:- Jen, Rach, Merle, Maggie, Agenes, Doreen, Liam, Nikki, Ewan and Laura Lucky Cats....where would we be without you?
This weekend, we are limbering up to a split shift - whilst one Lunicorn is at the Gather in Glasgow Market Place, t'other is amidst the switching on of Christmas illuminiations in Kilbirnie. Then, we're both off to a slightly chilly outdoors with the Woodlands Market (Glasgow) on Sunday.
So with frosty fingerless gloves, we bid you ta ta till next blog.
Love and tinselly lights

....and where are the curtains, I love the bead curtains, my children love the bead curtains, my guests want the bead curtains, the cat tolerates the bead curtains, and the chickens are a little scared of them. But I Love them, bring on the curtains.....

We love Top Cat too. (T'was also my favourite cartoon as a wean, still is, actually).
Yes, bead curtains, we're aiming to do an entire website review over next couple of weeks. But in meantime, please tell any prospective purchasers to contact us. They retail at £19.99, but happy to negotiate...
Yesterday's Market was so much better with you there Top Cat, can we always be near you please?

If you do the Kilbirnie Illuminations next year, can I come?! Thanks for keeping me posted with the "who's here".

Oh, I also meant to write I totally agree with you about the pulling-over-for-emergency-vehicles feeling. The more out of your way you have to go (ie right up the kerb rather than just pulling into the side), the greater the feeling.
