We feel it all around us....

...we feel it in our toes. As a previous publicist of that 80s band (now enjoying a much welcomed comeback), I feel it's ok to purloin these lyrics, but truly, what is going on? Is it the November hibernate, or are energies shifting so much, that it is flooring us completely? Ok, so we probably should technically be gathering nuts and bedding down till Spring, but what with those pesky mortgages and whatnot, we feel we must keep going....

And so we did exactly that today, despite all natural rhythms, we set the alarm, and got up quick smart and reported for Lunicorn duties. And what a day it has been? People giving us information quite unhindered, like direct contacts for buyers at fairly major outlets, and more than that, just being 'nice' with it.

So domestically, we've been chuckling about our low flying toast from our jet propelled toaster. Somehow, a few months ago when Russell Hobbs gave up the ghost, Lyn Lunicorn decided to plump for an Avanti forty five degree angle malarkey which has now translated into awaiting the toast propulsion lest it land on the floor. Not good. Why fix it if it ain't broke? Toast shoudl pop up at ninety degrees. I'm a sucker, clearly, for marketing. Still the Warburtons survives...

A big thank you to Kendal Crystals and his ever obliging DIY skills, we now have the longest shower pull in the world, but it works, and it didn't involve a tradesman and a sharp intake of breath, and a "it's gonna cost you love" conversation. Kendal, god love ye, you're no bad.

Hey, we saw the Recovery Club play in Cottiers, Glasgow on Wednesday night (google them on My Space) and oh my goodness, how they held the room. Love the new song - Red Pen. Ok, we're biased.

Hello Merle, thank you as ever (of course, I know you of yore), hello Maggie (see you at woodlands?), Jen, well done on the abseiling - the things you do for charity, eh? Rach, we miss you, Andy ditto, but hey, who has a social life when you're building a business...? Agenes, well done! with the event and everything else - Laura Lucky Cats, I feel we have forged a new union, and will be honoured to be selling your soap soon...Lorna (can I out you as Shang a Lang?) in York, I love you and miss you and love the fact we can remember events from over twenty years ago (we'll always be true pals), Nikki (Fly Broomstick), have loved the Botanics and toilet adventures with Jasper and secret trips to the Salon, Amy, what can we say, truly genius, ditto Allan and Graham. (The Recovery Club, case you wondered, Ewan (Jasper b)with your very dry humour, we love it, but don't want to flatter, so will simply say 'no bad'. And Velsha for trusting...och, and Linda and Nikki at kallkwik, it's not JUST business, is it? We love you too. Ok, before I start to make everyone sick with my unalduratedthankathon...(sorry, got carried away there)Oops just remembered wonderful letter receieved recently from Stella in Strathblane re her 6th year Lunicorn party - it's ON OUR FRIDGE! Thank you Stella!

Finally (nearly), as we headed out to Helensburgh on Weds for a fair that we then decided not to do, we passed the 'Dumbarton Joint Hospital' and apologies to any kids reading this, but we can't bypass the gag....giggled for some time on the vision of people arriving, somewhat stoned, with broken spliffs...

Anyhoo, we digress, this weekend sees us rock and roll at Kelvinside Academy Christmas Fayre on Saturday (2 - 4pm) and then Woodlands Market on Sunday before we limber up to the Holmwood House Christmas Cracker on 8th & 8th and 15th & 16th December. It's all very, very good, and website orders galore, so watch this space for postings of new products soon, soon soon.

Anyhoo, night night, as ever love and positive light. I can feel Christmas songs start to fester....
The Lunicorns.

Love you too, doll. Make sure you both get a good rest over the jolly festives. I'll miss my Lunicorn mince pies this year - all eight of them... or was it nine?!? (but they ARE tremendous!)
