You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one - There will be answer let it be- There's something about Joe...

Greetings fellow lunicorners,
Well, what a magical time of it?

A few weeks ago, we received a call from 'Joe' who had seen our card in an artstore recently, and wondered if we could draw some images for him. Interesting thing was it was the Lunicorn's card who wasn't the artist, not the one who was, and nowhere on the card did it say ANYTHING about being artistic. Yet, as luck would have it, one Lunicorn is very, very gifted in that field and was able to produce what he was looking for. Flashback - We met him, he gave brief reference to what he wanted, paid half up front, we offered a receipt, and he winked, kissed us both, and said he trusted us. Two weeks later, Lunicorn delivered, and tonight he collected. Again, a fleeting visit, but from the moment Joe walked into our house we knew there was magic in the air. He said he'd left some books in the lounge for us that we might be interested in, and that he didn't need them back. Once he'd gone, we unwrapped the books, like it was Christmas morning, and oh my goodness. They were completely up our street - Doreen Virtue's 'Angel Medicine', another 'Saved by the Light' and two more in a similar vein. Now, Joe is a stranger to us, yet how odd, we both feel like we've known him all our lives. Clearly, a spiritual man, yet how did events conspire that we should meet? And now we have books? It's all a bit amazing.....don't you think?

Now, he walked through our door at approximately twenty past five this evening. After he'd left, and we'd got over the excitement of the books, I checked the e-mails. At approximately twenty past five an e-mail had come in from the commissioning editor of a national magazine, who, having received a copy of our 'Magical Unicorn Meditations for Children' cd, was interested in our story and wanted to know more, in terms of writing it up for a feature....don't know what Joe is doing, but we like it. A LOT. It came at exactly the right time for us, and re-inforced even more our belief in what we're doing and why.

We were at Holmwood House's Christmas Cracker at the weekend, and then as the sleet started to fall, we found ourselves heading down the M8 for a Lunicorn Experience party in Ayrshire on Saturday evening. My, my, what a tuned in bunch of people we met when we arrived? Aside from the psychic man reading in the adjacent caravan who depressed everyone who had a reading with him, we managed to (we think) explain a LOT about the ethos of Lunicorn. The reception was amazing. Ranging from a ten year old to a lady in her pensioner years, we were blown away. The warmth that was in that room was electrifying. We were tired. We were mindful of the weather and the drive back to Glasgow, but goodness, the evening we enjoyed took us back to the days of community and caring.

Meanwhile, we've been chasing a national buyer at a particularly large international supermarket re our cd. He has just, ta da, we're pleased to say, given us the opportunity to trial our cd at a local store in the New Year. If it works in the local, he'll buy nationally - yay! That said, we already have twenty shops stocking us nationwide, which just goes to show, that despite being judged on other children's meditation cd sales, we're being given a shot, based on shop-owners actually listening to it. Thank you Findhorn, Opal Moon, Tir na nOg, Waterfront Gallery, Burnside Gallery, Akasha, Merlin's Grove, Spellbound, Doon Hill Books, Esoteric Earth, The Wyrd Shop, Studio 26, Bewitching Beauty, Jim Bews, Woodland Herbs, Shamanic, Beyond The Waterfall, Glory Hole, Middle Earth, The Rapha Centre, Sacred Moon and Doyle's Psychic Emporium in Kent.

And of course, the feedback we've had from Mairi at the local Montessori nursery has been phenomenal, who bought a copy recently, put it on, went in to her office, and returned to hear'and now your unicorn will be with you forever' and witness all 42 children and 6 members of staff out for the count on the floor...

And so, as we limber up to another 'talk' at the Psychic Centre in Paisley this coming Friday, we got ourselves to thinking, why would anyone want to listen to what we have to say?

And the thing is...

We have to believe, that in some small way, we are making a difference. By constantly spouting the merits of positive thinking and creative visualisation, we are helping (along with many, many others)promote the fact that we can assist the shift in energies. Light can overcome dark, and whether we choose to carry on in our materialistic worlds and ignore, or whether we choose to up the ante, is key.

And so we get close to Christmas. Scarily close. Of course, my mother had her Christmas shopping done back in August. Me? I'm waiting till our last fayres of the year, and then I'll start to get Christmassy. How did that happen? I used to be organised. Christmas cards written at the start of December. However, life, things get in the way, and people start to get awful judgemental about the giving and receiving of cards....

So after next weekend, we as Lunicorn shall take a trip to George Square and undoubtedly scream and shriek as we take our shot on the carousel, buy some tacky Christmassy gift at a stall and retire to a nearby pub for a Christmas dram.
So, with the holly and the ivy ringing in my ears, I bid you Noel,Noel, Noel, Noel, and speak to you all again in 2008
with much love and light
The Lunicorns
