It's only been a year...

...since our last blog! Since then we've evolved in so many different ways.
Our cards and prints have been a phenomenal success both in direct sales and shops the length and breadth of the country.

We've been in primary schools via Culture & Sport and Glasgow City Council with our 'Magical Unicorn Workshops' and are set to revisit with our 'Chill Out Sessions'. Our children's parties continue to be popular and our monthly meditation class at Opal Moon is selling out on a regular basis now.

Build it, and they will come!
We feel like we've been building something these past four years with Lunicorn, and every day throws up new opportunities. Ever inspired by the good will and support from those around us, we feel we are going from strength to strength.
We're hosting more talks about unicorns, being invited as far in advance as 2010, and generally getting over our fear of public speaking (well, in truth only one Lunicorn had that particular barrier to break)

If you haven't already heard us bang on about it in our newsletters, Diana Cooper's book 'The Wonder of Unicorns' was published last October, and we feature on pages 23 & 24...Diana Cooper is going to be at Body & Soul in August in Glasgow hosting workshops, and one Lunicorn provided the artwork for the leaflet. Can you guess what it might be? Unicorns of course.

We're getting organised today for Body & Soul in Stirling tomorrow, which should be good, as there is a strong unicorn presence in Stirling.

Word has it that Royal Mail is to release a new series of Myth and Legend stamps in June, and the first one is, of course, a unicorn! Yay.

We have a competition running this month in kid's comic Pretty Pony Club for our Magical Unicorn Meditations for Children CD, so if you haven't got your copy yet, then this is your chance to win one.

We were heartened at the last Glasgow Body & Soul Fair, to see so many people approach us and ask for a cd, either they'd heard from someone about the beneficial effects for children, or they'd lost their last copy. And the number of folks who told us that they'd got the cd previously and how much their child loved using it.
And we were well chuffed by ten year old Esme's review of our cd in the latest issue of the Witchhiker's Guide. To quote our favourite line "Listening to the meditations is like beauty being printed in your mind"

On another note, one Lunicorn has found herself back in the realm of the music and media industries, but with a much different perspective, and is thoroughly enjoying it.

Meanwhile, Badger and his tales continue to develop, and meetings with TV and publishers have been encouraging, so not long now till you can see him immortalised on pages and screens.

So onwards and upwards and very good things ahead for 2009.

Love and unicorn sparkles
The Lunies
